Last Monday, I got this really sweet card in the mail from my upline:
Apparently, I made the top 7 sales in her group of downlines last month, and was promoted to Senior Associate. Yay! This is so totally unexpected!

Sour Cream Containers Treat Boxes
Hi, everyone! Happy Wednesday!
Last Thursday, we had a party at work to celebrate our hard-working staff. We also celebrated a coworker's birthday. I made a sponge cake for my coworker, and these treat boxes for our staff.
Believe it or not, this was a last minute idea -- not because I did not want to give them anything, but because I was not sure if I will have time to make them a small gift, given that I had to bake and frost a from-scratch cake.
I love sour cream containers, and these were perfect because they were super quick and easy to make.
Can you guess what's inside the containers? Yup -- Starbursts. I love Starbursts and I'm proud of myself for exercising enough self-control to not eat the whole bag. :p
Here are more shots of the containers and the tags I made for them:
I'm glad I made these, because I had a blast making them and watching everyone shake their boxes to guess what was inside.
I used these Stampin' Up products to make these super cute sour cream containers:
Tagtastic stamp set (Hostess, Wood: 122745; Clear: 122747)
Chocolate Chip classic ink pad (100908)
Whisper White card stock (100730)
Everyday Enchantment DSP (Sale-a-bration: 126154)
Extra Large Tag punch (119866)
Crop-a-dile (108362)
Crimper (101618)
Sticky Strip (104294)
1/8 inch brown ribbon (non-Stampin' Up)

P. S. I was not able to take a photo of my sponge cake, because it disappeared pretty quickly (I have such awesome coworkers -- they make me feel great whenever I bake them something). It was a sponge cake with whipped cream frosting, and strawberries and chocolate syrup on top. Yummy!

Mojo Monday 232
The past week had been really busy for me. I had to give a big presentation yesterday (Monday), and I had to prepare all week for it. I also had to go see the doctor for prenatal tests (I am on my 28th week of pregnancy, so I was due for diabetes tests and all those other wonderful blood tests) on the same day.
Needless to say, I was not looking forward to Monday (yesterday, specifically). Except for the fact that it's also Mojo Monday. :)
Here's the sketch we had to work with:

Technical Difficulties
Just wanted to do a quick update to all my customers and potential customers: I've been having trouble with my cell phone (the phone just died, and the power would not come back on). While I'm trying to figure this out with my cell phone provider, your calls may go straight to voicemail.
Please contact me by e-mail until the issue is resolved: stampedbyc@gmail.com.
Thanks for reading, and I hope your day is going better than mine. ;)

Mojo Monday 231
I am so excited to share with you my card for Mojo Monday this week. I am new to Mojo Monday -- I just started playing along around 3 weeks ago, and I just found out from the Mojo Monday blog that there is a contest that is held every first Monday of the month. You can check it out here.
There is another reason why I'm so excited about this card. I wanted to try to make a masculine birthday card, but I wanted to incorporate a butterfly in the card (I just can't resist the Stampin' Up Butterfly punch). I think the card is still masculine enough (because of the colors that I used), even if I included a butterfly. What do you think?
This card is based on this Mojo Monday sketch by Julee:
I used these products from Stampin' Up to make my card:
Outlined Occasions stamp set (Wood: 127140; Clear: 127135) - from Sale-a-bration 2012
Basic Black classic ink pad (101179)
Pool Party classic ink pad (122938) to stamp the dots on the ribbon and to ink the edges of the card stock
Whisper White card stock (100730)
Pool Party card stock (122924)
Cherry Cobbler card stock (119685)
Basic Gray card stock (121044)
Basic Black card stock (121045)
Whisper White 5/8" satin ribbon (114616)
Sponge Daubers (102892) to stamp the ribbon -- cool trick, huh? :)
Butterfly punch (119848)
2-1/2" Circle punch (120906)
3/4" Circle punch (119873) to punch black card stock to make the faux scallops
1" Square punch (124094) - this was carried over from the Holidays mini catalog, and is still available for purchase
Stripes Textured Impressions embossing folder (123128)
Regals Collection brads (119737) - I used the Cherry Cobbler ones
Basic Rhinestones (119246)
Snail adhesive (104332)
Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)
All these products can be purchased at my Stampin' Up website. Click "Shop Now" on the top right corner of my Stampin' Up website to get started.
Techniques:
1. Faux Scallops - I made them by punching the Basic Black card stock with the 3/4" circle punch and adhering them around the 2-1/2" inch circle Cherry Cobbler punch cut
2. Faux Polka Dots - I stamped the Pool Party dots on the Whisper White 5/8" satin ribbon using Sponge Daubers
3. Fish Tail - I cut the fish tail using the corner of the 1" square punch (you can also use scissors, of course)
