When I started my crafting journey, the cards that I made were in size A2 (5 1/2x4 1/4 inches), A7 (5x7 inches), and the mini square note cards (3x3 inches).
Right now, we have slimline and mini slimline cards, which fit in the #10 and #7 envelopes, respectively. I was a little hesitant to try making these sizes, because I'm not used to them, but no better time than the present to try, right?
So, here you go, my first mini slimline card.
I cut the white cardstock using the largest mini slimline die, stuck it between my embossing folder and ran it through my die cut machine, then heat embossed the "Hi" sentiment using red embossing powder. I cut a little die cut heart out of red cardstock, stuck everything on Kraft cardstock that is 1/8 inch bigger than my embossed mat, and now it's a perfect card to say "Hi!" across the miles.
I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp IG Challenge. The challenge this month is to use an embossing folder.
Oh, also, you can now find me in IG as @StampedByC. Please stop by my IG and say hi!
I used the following supplies on my card (affiliate links support my blog at no cost to you):
