Products I Use and Recommend

Hello!  Thank you for checking out this page.  Instead of putting individual product links to my posts, I thought I'd share my most used products, subdivided by categories, on this page for easy reference.

I find this page useful when I need to re-order or replenish my supplies, since the links take me straight to products that I own and have previously purchased.  No more looking around for the specific item number in my craft room!  Win-win!

I use this products in most (if not all) the cards I make.

Paper Trimmers

This is my go-to trimmer.  It's self-sharpening, and it cuts clean edges, every time.

This is my workhorse for cutting stacks of paper/cardstock.  I have created wedding invitations, countless birthday party invitations, cards -- anything that I need to cut for mass production -- using this heavy duty trimmer.  I've had mine for 10+ years and it's still going strong.

These are the replacement blades for the cutter above.

And the replacement cutting strip where the blades touch.

Adhesives

This is my tape runner of choice.  I use it for card-making, scrapbooking, and any project where I need to put double-sided adhesive on a surface.  Again, I've had mine for 10+ years.  I've repurchased one just to have as a back-up, but my original one is still going strong.

Of course, you need refills.  Lots of refills, if you create lots of cards and scrapbook pages.  Make sure you're purchasing acid-free tape.  I purchased a huge order many years ago.  I haven't even used them all up.

If I want a more permanent bond (for rhinestones, sequins, ephemera, ribbons, and other 3D items) to my cards and scrapbook pages, I use these.  It comes in different sizes, but I only buy this size, and it's perfect for my needs.  Also, they are acid-free!

For adding dimension to cards and for shaker card windows, I use this foam tape.  I double stack the tape as needed (if I want more dimension), and it works very well.  It cuts and tears well, too (if cutting is not your thing).  Love, love, love.

For scrapbooking, make sure you're using acid-free foam adhesive to add dimensions to your scrapbook pages.  I personally use Stampin Up Dimensionals.

If I need a stronger double-sided tape for shaker cards and for interactive cards, this is the tape I use.  It comes in different sizes, but I use this one and cut it in half (lengthwise) if I need a thinner tape.  I also used this to hold the mini-albums that I made (back in the day).

I use this as my liquid adhesive, both for cards and for scrapbooking (it is acid-free!).  It has a fine tip for getting into thin and tiny edges.  I just gently squeeze the barrel and I get a perfect drop of adhesive, every time.

Paper

This is my #1 paper for white card bases, or for one layer cards.  I also use this if I'm coloring my stamped images with Copic markers.  It's smooth and sturdy, and cuts like a dream. Once I started using this, there was no going back!

I use this white cardstock for layering and die-cutting.  The surface is smooth and is great for stamping.  This is a lighter weight compared to the ones I use for card bases.  This is fine to use as a card base, but I suggest matting it with another cardstock layer so it's sturdy and your card won't be floppy.

Other Tools

A stamp positioner/stamp platform is a game-changer.  It allows for maximum flexibility in card-making.  You can do many techniques (shift stamping, layering, double-stamping, creating patterns, the list goes on).  The possibilities are truly endless with this.  This works for cling foam mounted stamps and for clear stamps.

A bone folder is a must-have for nice and tight creases and folds.  This one creates really smooth folds (no scratches on the paper!).  I also love it because the tip is not too thick, so I can use this not just to crease paper, but also to score.

I have a 12x12 scoring tool, but I found it too cumbersome to take out on my work surface (especially when I have a project already going on).  So I ordered a small one, and it's perfect for card-making.  The measurements are exact, so I get nice, even folds every time.  I use my own bone folder (see above) instead of the included tool to score.  It's really preference, because I usually will have my bone folder out on my desk anyway.  But using the included one runs through the grooves just fine, too.

These are my favorite scissors.  I use them for everything.  I bought an extra pair as a back-up, just in case these get suddenly get discontinued.  This is how much I love them.

So there you have it!  I hope you found this page useful.  I will update this page from time to time, so please keep checking this page.
