Hi, everyone! Yup, I'm still here. I have not fallen off the face of the earth. :p
I'm swamped with work, and it does not look like things are going to be letting up until early June (I can't even think of summer right now, although I'm wishing for it, with this long, dreary, and very, very cold winter that we're having), but it's really just four months away.
In the meantime, it's Valentine's Day tomorrow, and I have made valentines for all of r's classmates. There are now 17 other kids in his class.
Of course, I had to make a Valentine for r, too. And of course, that little reminder that the crayon is not food.
I saw this idea a while back in Pinterest, but I could not remember the source. Okay, so maybe I was a little "trigger-happy" with the "Pin It!" button, without thinking about how my pins should be organized. It's probably in one of my boards, among the 2,000+ pins.
Even if this was not my original idea (the heart-shaped crayon for valentines), I'm very happy with how the turned out!
I used the following products for these valentines:
Crayola heart-shaped crayons (I made these!)
White cardstock (Georgia-Pacific)
Red cardstock (The Paper Studio)
3-inch scallop circle punch (EK Success)
2-1/2 circle punch (EK Success)
Heart Blocks embossing folder (Cuttlebug)
Big Shot - to emboss
We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper - to round off the corners of my card
Thanks for looking, and have a great day!
